This starting 5 played the best ball UConn has played all year. Let’s see if they can keep it going.

The Jalen irony is that Temple is the place he had one of his worst moments at Uconn a few years back when KO benched him. Could he turn this around and have one of his best games after Sundays debacle .....on the road at Temple.... a big favorite ?

I remember that game at Temple. UConn was up about 10 at half and Jalen (supposedly) yelled at the coaches at halftime and they sat his butt down second half. UConn then blew the lead and the game. However I also recall Jalen beating Temple on a last second shot on a set play they ran for Jalen. Jalen at times has been a great player but at other times has moped and sulked, yelled at teammates and coaches, and displayed poor body language. As a senior he has to step up and be a consistent leader every game and not have these total no show games where he totally lays an egg and is a complete non factor. His head was not in the game and Coach Danny Hurley substituted in some guys who did have their heads in the game.

His starting lineup privilege should be suspended until he proves in performance and attitude that he deserves it. Until then bring him off the bench.
