A lot of people on the board probably are not old enough to remember Louis Orr as a player at Syracuse, but I do. In the late 1970s he was a star/All American type player on a Syracuse team that also featured Roosevelt Bouie. They were called the "Louie and Bouie Show."

1979-80 was the very first Big East season, and the only season the Louie and Bouie Show would play in the Big East. The Louie and Bouie show led Syracuse to a regular season championship tie with Georgetown and St. John's at 5-1, and Georgetown would win the first Big East Conference Championship. Louie and Bouie were both All-Big East 1st team:

UConn finished 3-3 in that inaugural Big East season with just 6 conference games, a far cry from the 20 or so they play now.

Maryland LB Ahmad McCullough was in Storrs this past weekend on an official visit. It went well, and UConn is “one his top choices.”

Also told that he loved the facilities and the atmosphere made him feel like home. Keep an eye out in the coming days, as I feel good about a commitment.

Just spoke with new 2023 offer, ATH Oumar Diomande out of New York. He informed me that today marks the first day of his official visit with the Huskies and I really like their chances in this one as I have submitted a futurecast in the Huskies favor.

Diomande plays multiple positions for his high school team, including running back, tight end and middle linebacker. He will likely come in as an athlete and the staff will determine where he fits best after that, but early signs are pointing towards him being a linebacker.
