As glaring a miss in those rankings is the fact that not one ESPN top 100 kid is going to the AAC.

Is that really a surprise? The real disappointment is UConn whiffing on the kids ranked 25-75 who were the backbone of the success the program enjoyed 1990-2014. The 2014 national championship was not cashed in either by UConn or the AAC. Wichita State is not getting the top talent either but they are coaching up the kids they get. I was very, very impressed by their freshman point guard last year. Don't know where he was ranked but the kid is a great player. Tall, long and very skilled and will be a tough cover for Vital or whomever is put on him.
