Neutral Fan Attending the Maine Game - Recommendations?

Hey there, UConn fans! I'm a Marshall fan that has recently moved to upstate NY and will be coming to the Maine @ UConn game on Thursday to kick off the college football season by attending a game at a stadium that I've never been to. I'm going to try and get there around 6PM for the 7PM kickoff. Is there anything that my wife and I should check out around the stadium? Anywhere to park to save on cost? Any other relevant gameday recommendations?
