A dumb rule, but there's a bunch of rules... can't play with more than a certain amount of your College team mates
on a Summer league team etc. ......

Sam Cassell Jr. deserved to start tomorrow night anyway based on the preseason games, but Purvis needs as much game action as he can get so he can get the bad basketball out of his body.
I guess T Sam will probably get heavy minutes and Hamilton can be used as the backup 2 guard. If necessary Facey can move to the 3.

I want Rodney to break out but somehow I feel better with him sitting this one out. With Memphis losing to Brothers of the poor anyone can lose who goes ice cold like we have been for two games.
+1, Agreed on Sam the Man, KO was talking about RP on Joe D's coaches show last night... needing to get
it together but he was still positive about him getting the rust off. He mentioned his shooting and his shoulder
surgery and working through it to get his confidence back.
UConn will not need Purvis to beat Bryant. This is where we will see the depth of the team. For this game they can get by using Boat and Cassell as starters and T-Sam and Hamilton as backups. Maybe Ollie will use the occasion to experiment with a big lineup and see how that goes.
