UConn will come out throwing vs. UB

"The Bulls, tied for 25th in the country in sack average per game at 2.67, will bring the pressure."

Blades I hope they have figured out how to protect CW or move the pocket or it could be another tough day. I hope we see more of Delorenzo....

I agree about Delorenzo, he seems to be able to move the pile and could give Uconn more manageable passing downs
which will keep the UB defense honest. The SNY writer Silver mentioned it after the Michigan game:

" The run game continues to under perform. A little better for the offensive line, but Lyle McCombs had 38 yards rushing
on eight carries with one 16 yard run and Max Delorenzo added 23 yards on six carries. I think they need to split carries
at RB. McCombs just isn't getting enough yardage on first down and I like him better on second and third down. Huskies
need more of a power back in there. Perhaps it's also a bit of the no huddle offense, but UConn may want to revamp and
get the fullback and maybe a couple of tight ends out there and get back to some power football. I would like to see that."

With the rush Buffalo seems to have....Uconn needs to get into shorter yardage situations. Whitmer and the passing game
can be alot more effective and less TO prone if they aren't in 2nd or 3rd and 10-15 yds. They also can't have the OL take
dumb motion penalties like they did twice last game, at key times, that put them behind the chains. The main thing is they
have to get more offensive balance however they do it.

I also noticed Uconn is a slight favorite so it's do or die time for PP and GDL:

Gameday read from SNY-: UConn-Buffalo
" Lyle McCombs/Max DeLorenzo have to get over 100 yards combined. The Huskies are not Ohio State or Baylor, but
the Bulls are allowing 243yards per game on the ground and the Huskies have to find a way to have success in the
ground game. UConn is looking more like it will go to a multiple back set with Lyle McCombs getting the majority of
carries and Max DeLorenzo getting a healthy workload between the tackles. "

"A UConn official said that RT Kevin Friend, WR Shakim Phillips, LB Graham Stewart and CB Taylor Mack are all
out for the game."
Big issue for the offense the way Hemingway has been manhandled, seems like even or upgrade on D with LB Ashiru and
J. Williams at CB.

Can you fire a head coach at half time ? I would...What a fr#CKIng heartless effort , they had their superbowl last week
vs. Mich and just decided to show up and go threw the motions right off the bat. TO 1st pass sack from the blind side,
complimentary pick six by CW that everyone quits on, special teams suck (50+ KO return),blocked kicks,
bad penalty to extend TD drive, DL can't get a man near UB's QB...DB beat for long TD and everyone quits
after any adversity....Oh and of course Uconn isn't "Baylor or Ohio St" in the running game 30 carries for 0.6 yds
a carry because their isn't a blocker that can keep his man out of the backfield......Paul... George and your OL ...
this is what you have created.... take a FR#$CKING Hike ! ..........I'm done until they're gone !

Damn I guess I can come back now.....lets' hope it doesn't take 5 years for Uconn to turn it's FB team around like
after those 2 train-wrecked Cuse following the BE/ACC conference re-alignment round one. Why is it that history
keeps repeating itself as fan apathy and bad FB just follow them around every where they go...good riddance......
and F#$k You very much Jeff Hathaway for the worst hire in Uconn sports history ......
