Men- playing St. John's at Madison Square Garden brings back memories of going to the Garden every year during the 1990s to see UConn play. We would make a day trip out of it to the City and go on a pub crawl after the game. Those were great times in UConn basketball.

UConn this year has a good team, but maybe not quite as good as all of us thought or hoped. You would like to think UConn should win this game, but their recent play suggests it will be a competitive game that could go either way. UConn needs Sanogo to behave like a monster this game as he did in the first game against the Johnnies. Point spread is UConn -4

Women- the statuses of Ducharme and Ododa is and will be unknown until game time, but UConn has come off 2 very good performances wrapped around a stinker. Against Tennessee and DePaul, UConn looked great and showed legit Final 4 potential. In a home loss to Villanova that was not nearly as close as the final score, UConn was completely outplayed and outhustled and outcoached. Which team will show up today against a rough and physical Marquette team? A player to watch will be Azzi Fudd, who had 25 against Tenn. and 29 against Nova before being shut down with 4 against DePaul, which focused on her. Dorka Juhasz and Aaliyah Edwards are both coming off their best games of the year, and are also players to watch.

What has been up with Akok? We haven't seen him for a while.
I don't know but I wish Jackson would join him ;)......Clueless, reckless, low IQ, out of control...who loves to give the ball away and hurt his team over and over !!!! SMH !

Well despite a team full of guys who can't finish lay-ups or have the body control to make it an easier shot near the rim, balls getting thrown into the stands (AJ) or drives out of control into traffic. Polley and Hawkins ( another reckless trainwreck) who still can't get their shots going ( but love to shoot)and guys who can't stay out of foul trouble...it's a 1 point halftime lead. It'd be nice to see a team that looks like they have a clue on offense in the 2nd half .....but........

Not to mention Sanogo sitting most of the half with foul trouble and St. John's outscoring UConn in the paint 20-16 which is NOT ACCEPTABLE

By the way AJ has 10 boards - leading the team by a lot
Yeah and he got one at the beginning of the 2nd but he was in such a hurry he lost it right back to Champaigne ....for a 3pt 'er on the give it right back for a St' johns lead.......slow down KID !!!!!!

EDIT:
Now he's wide open and can't even pass make a simple pass to RJ without shuffling' his feet....the kid is poison to winning besides rebounding !!!!

Hurley had no right to win this game...especially with his pathetic last possession that Martin bailed him out on with the offensive rebound....Really Dan ??? that was your play ??? ... to run the clock down to under 10 secs with both Whaley and Sanago playing hot potato 20 feet from the hoop ? There's a reason you've lost alot of close ones.....NO CLUE...get the ball to Cole you tool B4 he's lucky to even get it back from those two passing challenged Bigs !!!

All right end of in game rants..... Go Huskies !

Amazing they can win with only about 3 guys playing good hoops....shout out to Whaley and Martin ( both played great) and RJ....Mr Clutch for not repeating a Creighton moment at Gampel last year...

missing bunnies is more contagious than COVID for both our teams. Marone!

girls in trouble.

Khalid, Cole and Martin potentially could come back next year Btw.

By the way, great FOX doubleheader sweep for UConn as the women surged late behind 24 points from Azzi Fudd and 21 from Dorka Juhasz. Fudd's 3 point shooting, crossover dribble and general court sense are amazing. She is the best 3 point shooter on either UConn team, and I think she could take Niels Giffey and Rashad Anderson in a 3 point shooting contest. There is a reason why Steph Curry signed her to the first big NIL deal for his company- he knows shooting when he sees it.

Khalid, I like that we are seeing Fudd score off the bounce now. She’s lights out from 3, but she’s no one trick pony Anymore.

She was never a one trick pony. We are just seeing her healthy the last 4 games, and seeing the real Fudd. She is every bit the hype as was Paige.
