“Ever since I was young, I am from Connecticut, that was who I grew up watching with Jim Calhoun and those guys. All my friends and everyone that comes up out of my school, that is their dream, to play basketball at UConn growing up. Just it being so close to home, it being a high-major school, I am very thankful.”

Just a correction note: Loomis Chaffee is in Windsor. I would know I'm a Windsor guy but played HS hoops @ WHS..... I think Jaiden is Ryan Delaire's cousin or some relative, Ryan was a 6-5/210 lb physical power forward on the Windsor BB team as an underclassmen then decided to play FB and turned into a 265lb DE for Umass then Towson St and now with Carolina in the NFL last I checked. Uconn's got some tough comp for him though:

But seriously his recruiting will probably be on the ups, just saw he got a Big 12 offer from Kansas St.
