Vic Cegles will leave Long Beach St. after 10 years as their AD to join David Benedict as the Deputy Athletic Director at Uconn. A native of Niagara Falls, NY, and a 1970 graduate of Bucknell University...he also worked in senior athletic department management roles at Rutgers (1981-86), Arizona State (1986-2002) and Temple (2003-06). Cegles will provide leadership for all of the external areas at UConn and will serve as the sport administrator for the Husky men’s basketball, baseball and golf programs.
