UConn sets the bar at 6 wins
"With a hopeless offense and a fierce defensive front seven, UConn was basically a poor man's Rutgers

last season. But like Rutgers, the Huskies have to hope the offense improves enough to offset some
defensive regression coming down the pike."

Hello Blades! I'm not going to be long winded. so here i go. The SN article was OK and some of it was good plus true. The writer was trying to be over funny at UConn's exspense and led me to wonder about him being a over the top UConn fan. This being a new season and hopes, players and some better luck i buy that, but it for me was not all good. I follow the huskies as you know, i have still have season tickets to the UConn mens basketball, now only to the XL center. I also attend some football games as well as some womens basketball games too. When i can't attend games i watch them. I to have high hopes for the football team also hope that some writers are right when they say UConn is a spleeper and yes i am also praying for at least 7 wins and a bowl game. GO HUSKIES!

I don't think the writer is a Uconn fan, according their site Bill Connelly (link), is a NCAA Football, Basketball and Tennis Contributor.

But John Silver the Uconn beat writer for SNY tweeted the article so I thought it was worth a read. Lot's of charts, breakdowns
and numbers, but take it for what it's worth like most pre-season reads. This is what Silver had to say:

I'm looking forward to the season and Thursday. Former Uconn OC Rob Ambrose's team is a no joke FCS squad so
Uconn better not take them for granted. They put up a good battle against a 10-2 LSU team last year until losing 38-22.
