Third Husky....to test the system

With Hamilton, Brimah and now Purvis declaring for the NBA draft, they are most certainly taking advantage of the new draft rule. Hamilton is obviously the most NBA ready out of the three but all of them need another year to polish their games. If they were to be selected by any NBA teams right now, I cannot see any of them playing any crucial minutes and be sent to the D-League pretty quickly. Hamilton still needs to prove he can have a consistent jumpshot and defend on the perimeter. Brimah is so limited offensively and is quick to draw easy fouls as we witnessed during the postseason run this year. Purvis is just too one dimensional and really does not have a noticeable strength he is consistently good at. He has missed a number of open layups and free throws that can prevent him from even qualifying to play at the next level. One more year will do justice for all of these three and as a UConn fan, we need all three back in order to compete in the AAC. We should be a top 3 team within the conference but if we want to have a chance of making a deep postseason run in the NCAA tournament, everyone has to come back and contribute.

I think Facey, Enoch, Adams, Larrier, should test the system too !!!

Hamilton could go if someone promises him a first round pick but agree that all arent close to being NBA contributors.
