Shabazz should thrive playing the international rules. You can never have enough guys who can shoot the 3.

He will not get noticed if Puerto Rico doesn't qualify. Puerto Rico performed dismally at the 2014 World Championships. In Group play their only win was over Phillipines. In their other games they were drubbed and they did not make the Final 16.

As a Knicks fan I wish Phil Jackson would sign him. He never plays and the Knicks are in such desperate need of a PG he atleast deserves a chance to prove himself. Plus we all know how UConn players have performed at Madison Square Garden.

"Napier will not participate with the national team. He decided not to. Yesterday we sent a communication. Apparently has some training in the western United States and can not participate with the national team, "Ramos said.

Puerto Rico likely isn't qualifying for the Olympics with or without Shabazz, so this was going to be a nonevent anyway. They were terrible at the 2014 World Championships. There are a lot of good European teams now, that can compete with the lesser teams in North America.
