Unfortunately, UConn will not be seeing Texas at full strength as they have lost their starting point guard Isaiah Taylor to a broken wrist. Taylor was Texas's leading scorer, and like Ryan Boatright, more of a scoring point guard than a distributor. His assists per game didn't even lead the team.

What jumps out at me on Texas's stats is that this is a team that has 10 guys, besides Taylor, averaging double figure minutes. So it's a very deep team. Texas is shooting just under .500 FGs, just under 40% from 3, 74.3% on FTs and 45 rebounds per game, outrebounding foes by 14 a game. This team is solid statistically across the board.

The best player on Texas is Myles Turner, who projects as the #4 pick overall in the 2015 NBA Draft according to NBA Draft Net.

This will be a huge test for UConn and for Brimah playing Turner.
