UConn Football just released an updated roster. While there were some notable names missing from the list, there was some very good news in the form of Jay Rose's name, listed as a tight end. Great news for Edsall and staff!
Rose was a huge pickup for Bob Diaco and his staff in the class of 2016, choosing the Huskies over a host of offers including Wisconsin, Maryland, West Virginia, and others. He left the program during his first preseason, with Diaco offering a bunch of sketchy excuses before a statement from Rose via UConn that he was leaving the program. Nice to see the former in-state star back with the Huskies.
