Michigan State has no depth and therefore is without the ability to test Duke. To be forced to play two walk-ons meaningful minutes in the 1st half due to foul trouble is indicative of a serious problem with the depth of their roster.

However, watching Okafor play in the 1st half makes me think we could see Lubin at the 5 due to foul trouble. As was suggested in another thread.

Duke is always solid early in the season. Credit to k. Unfortunately, his teams end up stinking (as of late)

I disagree on MSU, I like what I saw and think they will be a team that can make the FF.

MSU not a top 25 team right now, but they have serious depth issues which could be resolved by tournament time. They have good toughness and some good players. What they really are lacking is good defense. They have no rim protection and their guards were allowing too much penetration. I suspect Izzo will tighten that up.

They are a sweet 16 team. Duke is Elite 8/Final 4. I want to see how they do against UConn.
