About to get underway.

UConn will be playing in the St. Petersburg Bowl against Marshall at Tropicana Field on December 26th.

We're working out right now all the details. Warde just officially accepted the offer.

We have to be there early in the week, Monday or Tuesday. It will be tough with finals. Trying to get 3 practices this week, then do a little work during finals week...

Players need to keep their timing, that means going full speed. You have to do it enough to make sure your timing is on.

Team needs to understand, it's not a vacation. We're working, working to win a football game.

Extra practice: it's great. Just the mentality of the guys on the practice field right now, excited to be on the practice field in December.

Only two players on this team that have been to a bowl, so it's new for everybody besides the coaches. Those two players are transfers Graham Stewart (Florida) and E.J. Levenberry (Florida State).

Marshall is a great matchup, very excited. They're 9-3, beat a Big 10 team...

Unveiling to team: It was hard we wanted to have a moment. The team has been ready and waiting, I sent them simultaneously a note directly. They had an opportunity to hear first just before it was released.

Practices have been introspective while waiting for opponent.

Now, once all the footage is broken down and we have a good profile of Marshall, we'll start to add those elements.

Shirreffs is cleared to play, has been practicing.

Cozier, Ormsby, Myers, wont be ready.

Lemelle might be.

Matt Walsh who had a little something, it's looking more and more like he'll be able to go.
