and a bunch of walk ons is what they look like right now.

I've said it 1,000 times before, but Geno s too loosey goosey with letting his starters play through foul trouble. It's gonna bite him one of these days.

He has no bench which is why he has them play through foul trouble. This bench he has is far below typical UConn standards with the 6-9 players.

Also, Geno teaches the girls not to foul and he believes they can play with foul trouble because they are trained not to foul. I believe UConn had no player foul out last year and committed less fouls than any team and this is a long history for this team. I assume you know this?

Geno's fundamental philosophy is that fouls are the result of bad defense and if you don't play bad defense you don't commit fouls. He is right of course and the stats prove it. Good defense = less fouls.

Khalid, that makes sense, but Gabbys 2nd foul tonight and Colliers 4rth Saturday were abominations. So you are flirting with human error and the last time I checked, that's the strength of American zebras.

Better team effort in the second half. Collier was a one man show and gave us a cushion early and finally Lou knocked down some shots. Then the bully ball ensued and +20 became +40.

I just don't see why he can't get Butler and Bent a few first half minutes so they aren't deer in headlights if needed in the second half of a contested game.

With Kia back, 7 is probably enough. But a little more of a rotation would serve them well imo.

Butler and Bent are kept on the bench for a reason: they are not that good. Playing time is earned, not granted based on nothing.

Butler was atrocious tonight, but she's played some good minutes this year. Even against Scarolina, her big body frustrated AJones. I'd rather see her 3 minutes every first half, then forced to play the entire second quarter because one of the forwards have 3 fouls.

And Bent is a fast little thing that will get dirty. He has to find a role for her. If we need her to score, we ain't winning anyway. Irwin is limited athletically, like we've said, but the kid has confidence and is tough to move.
