Almost. NaLyssa Smith did win the Wade Award as mentioned in that article. The girls they have in the top 3 spots all play different positions and it's probably very arguable as between those 3. Iowa fans might even argue that Caitlin Clark, who plays the same position as Paige and is #4, should be ahead of Bueckers. That's why lists like this are sometimes fun. But in the end, they do not really mean anything.

A notable UConn player absent from that list, who might be on it after next season, is Aaliyah Edwards, if her rate of development continues. Aaliyah led the nation in FG%, as a freshman.
