Updated roster

Enoch a big dude.
Yeah he is ..... and probably still growing... he finally just turned 18 last month !

Also sounds like a good student to boot: "Dean’s List student, earning high honors in high school and an Excellence in Chemistry Award."

I am intrigued by the potential of Enoch. He is a major wild card on this team, and next year's team. He might be the most size we can put on the Court in a potential matchup with Gonzaga at BOA. Not sure if you guys are familiar with Gonzaga but they have a Polish kid who is an absolute monster - just an enormous man and hard to move - as well as Sabonis's kid who is not quite as big but is 6'11" and extremely strong for his size. Enoch will have to play against these brutes because they will muscle Brimah and Nolan. In addition Miller will need to help. Gonzaga is as big and strong at the 4 and 5 as anyone UConn will play and UConn will have to roll out some beef. Or else try to run Gonzaga off the court which they might be able to do.

I should add that when Souleymane Wane came to UConn I thought he had a NBA body and he was never anything more than a good backup center. He is a guy who I thought would be much better than he ever was. I thought Rak Lubin would be better too.

Quotes from the NHR first night article:

Ollie noted that Enoch, the 6-10 freshman, has been the most pleasant surprise over the first two weeks of practice.
“He’s big, he’s skilled,” said Ollie. “He can shoot it outside, he’s poised and he’s a sponge. He wants to get better, and that’s a beautiful thing, when a kid just wants to get better and whatever you say, he’s always hanging on your every word. He’s coachable, he works very, very hard. It’s not like we had to put any weight on him, he’s 250 already and just turned 18. He’s gonna be a great player for us. I really, really believe that.”
Added Miller: “His motor is unbelievable. He just keeps going and going and going. As far as defense, rebounds, offense, everything — his motor is real high.”

Enoch is one of these kids who came in a little under the radar and maybe with a little chip on his shoulder. I think the team will be substantially better rebounding the ball and he will be a big help there. His body is also needed on defense as mentioned above, as Brimah and Nolan have some problem against large, strong bodies.
