Katie Lou Samuelson has a broken foot and will not play, so UConn is down to a 6 girl team, possibly 7 if they use Natalie Butler or more likely Saniya Chong against a pressing Syracuse team that comes in red hot having blown out its opponents in its Elite 8 and Final 4 games by 20+ points. UConn has athletic guards and should be able to handle Syracuse's press, but we shall see. UConn's defense, I think, will be the key to this game. If Syracuse's press is handled and they can't score in transition and have to execute against UConn's halfcourt D, the game becomes more challenging for the Orangewomen.
