Next year is going to be like 2000-2002 all over again when UConn had incredibly deep and talented teams. The 2000 and 2002 teams were national champs, but the 2001 team was the most talented team UConn had that didn’t win it all, because of season ending injuries to Shea Ralph and Svetlana Abrosomova, who were 1st team All American talents. They made the Final 4 and lost to ND which was champion that year.

Consider as well that UConn will have on the team next year 3 girls who were overall #1 National Recruits in their recruiting class (Walker, Williams and Buecker) and another girl who was overall #2 National Recruit (Westbrook). This is an extreme amount of talent to have on a roster.
