UConn Hoops: No. 25 Huskies earn "much-needed" win over No. 15 Baylor

It should be pointed out that although UConn got the W, Baylor's 2 starting guards were out for most of the game, the backup PG Wright got to the rim any time he wanted to with no resistance, and Baylor shot 49% for the game. So UConn has played 4 legit teams and has allowed at least 49% FGs in all 4 games. Although Samson Johnson had his best game of the year, he still managed to foul out, and I lost track of whether that is the 4th or 5th foul out of the year for him already. It was interesting that Hurley played Johnson and Reed together for a lot of the second half, but UConn still managed to get outrebounded for the game. UConn won this game at the FT line and with some gritty play by McNeely when needed. It is becoming apparent that McNeely is the 2nd best player on the team after Alex.

I was wondering why Nowell didn't play at all against Baylor. Robert Wright III attacked the rim and got to the rim whenever he wanted and I would have liked to have seen Nowell on him.
