This "tweet" is the problem with certain vindictive refs vs. Hurley. If they hate his Fk'ing guts fine. Call a tech or 2 and run him from the game. But I can see clear as day as soon as I walk into a Uconn game and noticed the refs doing the game, which way the whistle is gonna go. Seeing Pat Driscol before Butler cemented it last night.... I'm tempted to make a tape of calls by certain refs and prove that 75-80% of their calls go against Hurley/Uconn.
And then they'll only make calls against the opponent that benefit them like stopping wide open Uconn baskets or waiving shots off that go in with a foul ahead of time. FT attempts show this clear as day in game after game. ( see 51 more FT attempts in Maui)
I'll concede that Hurley's roster construction this year wasn't exactly ideal with all he lost to the NBA. A lockdown defender/rebounder at wing ( ie. Tyrese, AJ, Castle) and a bigger guard who could penetrate would have helped immensely.
But to be blatantly put in foul trouble and causing more defense problems because of certain pricks with a whistle is corruption. Thankfully I'm not a gambler ( and I don't even want to go down that road or possibility being at play with certain refs)
But don't take my word for it, when a blabbermouth writer and Uconn/Hurley hater like marblefaced Jeff Goodman has said as much in the past. That he's spoken to certain refs who specifically say they will target DH. That's no different than the Big East assigning a bunch of dirty cops. The Uconn players and fans need this investigated by useless Val Ackerman and should I say her Supervisor of officials.
John Cahill Oh wait, he was also a Uconn/ known Calhoun hater. Maybe that's the reason it's allowed or even supported by the Big East, SMH !
