Why does it seem like WBB freshmen players Anna Makurat and Aubrey Griffin are developing at a much faster rate than their MBB counterparts in Akok Akok, James Bouknight and Jalen Gaffney? Is it that Makurat and Griffin are just better players in their sport and had more room to grow? Is it coaching and minutes? Is it that the women are more mature and picking up things and adjusting faster than their male counterparts? Is it that (until now) WBB needed more out of Makurat and Griffin and they were forced into the fire earlier? Is it some part of all of these things?
