New Haven Register article on the effect of the Diaco house cleaning/roster reshuffling and recent attrition:
UConn Football APR numbers in good shape despite departures
There were 35 players that left who originally enrolled at UConn and would have been part of the program had they remained
as of this year. Uconn was below 65 healthy scholarship players by the end of the year, including the 5 redshirted freshman
who weren't forced into early action because of the roster losses.

Uconn played 10 of their 15 true FR this year and a total of 21 scholly FR overall. They also had 6 SO's on the roster who
played as true freshman last year. In comparison there was only one JR (G Tyler Samra) and one SR ( WR Deshon Foxx)
on the roster this year that did not redshirt as a FR.

" UConn's projected APR is 960 for the 2013-14 academic year which is three points higher than it was last year
and two points higher than the mark two years ago. The good news for UConn is the many of those who have left
the team landed at other FBS or FCS programs meaning they left UConn in good academic standing."
