So after that last debacle, it's win ( 3 ) or go home time. Starts at noon vs. the team who helped bonce Michigan:

Unfortunately, UConn's pitching is getting raked again.

Uconn's only issue is, probably good, but not great pitching. They only have 2 good starters, 1 is OK and the 4th starter is a problem.

What a Fricking JOKE!


Well I guess I lied, except they won't be needing a 4th starter, because the 2nd starter SUCKED... 11 RUNS to Notre Dame ! ..... and the 3rd starter was just as bad !... Can't even make it out of the 4th inning giving up 10 hits + 3 walks and 2 HR to a team who doesn't even want to swing that bat and would rather walk or bunt. But who still wont throw strikes until he gets down 3-0 nibbling at the plate.

Then add in Penders who would rather have his DH bunt for outs ( when he can't bunt) in an inning that he gets 3 hits and doesn't score a run !!!! ..,.. This debacle is worse than vs. Notre Dame but at least it will put the coaching staff out of their misery.

Giving up 40 runs in 2 games is not a recipe to win at any level of baseball. Seems like the pitching staff needs to be upgraded.

True, I guess Uconn was supposed get a big upgrade from the kid below, but when he has 40 MLB scouts coming to his HS games( I heard he plays with Penders son @ EC) he may never get to Uconn.
