SNY's Silver has a good read about some changes being made. My guess for Uconn to turn it around is everything
starts in the trenches, the DL has been as bad as the OL and they have to start doing what they did vs. Michigan
with TFL and sacks. And if the OL doesn't step up with a simpler blocking scheme now that Foley is back the change
in QB wont' matter. The one thing with these OL starters, most have been around 4-5 years with Bennett 6. Though
C/OG Bullock is suspended and OT Friend is doubtful, Foley was their position coach for the beginning of their Uconn
career. If he can't get them going then maybe they just aren't very good. So that's what I'll be looking at not the QB
specifically. They also need Philips back as a playmaker ASAP. If nothing else the coaching changes will make it
interesting but the depth is pretty bad right now. Also here is some of what Silver has to say and his article:
"One look at the depth chart shows exactly how thin the Huskies are across the offense. It's stunning how an
offense this poor only changes the quarterback. The Huskies have an extraordinary depth problem on offense.
Chandler Whitmer's turnovers were a problem, but it wasn't the No. 1 problem with the offense."
