Temple Men Open As 2.5 Point Favorite

I started that thread
I stand by it - our bigs are terrible
The whole half court offense is high ball screen pick and pick and roll action

We have zero pick and pop capability due to the awful recruiting and talent eval by KO

Get some bigs in here that can do something on offense outside of dunking and getting a rebound!!!!

Of course you stand by it, it's stupid.

All 4 of those guys did something to contribute to the team's recent success, then when pretty much the entire team is having an off game you start a thread half way through that game to trash players. On top of that you suggest that if someone doesn't challenge your laughable hyperbole that makes you right about something. You're annoyingly ignorant about this team, and basketball in general and you kinda make me sick.

You're not a Husky fan. Go away

Andersonfro, I watched the final shot by Jalen again and initially he want to his right but then he crossed over to his left and drove and shot with his left hand:

By the way Brimah set an effective screen which is what freed Jalen to go left and lose the guy who was on his right overplaying the drive to the right. Someone started a thread saying the UConn bigs suck but that sure looked like a screen right out of the Jake Voskul playbook- just stand there and plant and Brimah's screen caused the defender to lose Jalen for the split second Jalen needed to get free. That is called winning basketball fellas and somewhere Jake Voskuhl was watching and smiling because he did that shit all the time, didn't get called for fouls and nobody ever thanked him for it.

Missed that, I could have sworn he finished with his right.

Our bigs are setting solid screens, that's great execution during a tough game

That last play was perfect execution by UConn. If Brimah moves too much on that screen and is called for a foul, it's 2 FTs for Temple and game over. Temple was overplaying Jallen's right hand and the screen was designed to free him to go left. Once Jalen crossed over, he had a crease and one slower guy to beat with his left hand, which he did. The other guy could not get back in the play because he was overplaying to the right and Brimah's screen prevented him from recovering. It was then all up to Jalen to finish and he did with his left hand!!!!!! It was a designed play all the way and well executed.

Correct on everything except he made a reverse lay-up with his right hand. see highlight above ^^^

Blades I watched the play a few times on my laptop and admittedly my eyesight is failing but it sure looks like he lays it in with his left hand

damn son get a bigger screen...LOL ! Yeah the reverse right is a pretty standard move from jalen, after his cross over going to the hoop....you can see it better in the second view they showed on the highlights I posted...

The Courant is also reporting he layed it in with his left hand ............
The Courant is dumb, just because he drove to his left doesn't mean he finished with it...that's a standard move I burned guys with all day...
but that was in a different century !

Yes Blades is right........you can't see it on the initial replay but on the replay from the camera at the other end, Jalen did lay it in with his right hand.....

KO doing a great job with these youngins. If they played all the time with his passion, pride and fire we easily could have 3-4 more wins that went down to the wire this year either due to FTs, dumb turnover or missing an extra body or two from the 8 we got!

Need a little more in terms of staying on the fooor from Brimah and Facey in terms of rebounding and scoring and we absolutely can be dangerous down this stretch.....
