Glad to see an ex-Hawkeye player now HC doing well. I met Coach Diaco a couple of time while I was at Iowa thru HS friends on Iowa football team under Coach Hayden Fry. Decent guy. Hope UCONN keeps doing well in football. Way to become bowl eligible.

Back at you..... great season going by Iowa and your HC and former Uconn FB captain Kirk Ferentz. Diaco references Coach Fry quite a bit and it's been a long road to respectability for the team/fanbase after the Fiesta Bowl and him having to pick up the mess which got our last AD fired for hiring program killer Paul Pasqualoni. Bobby's a little over the top with his media quotes sometimes and he's had a game day learning curve as a HC, but after cleaning house and finishing last year with only about 65 scholly players and playing a ton of true FR.... it's been nice to see the true energy & love he shares with his team. So getting a bowl berth this quick, has been worth the wait.
