Seems like we'll never know, but he could've brought alot more than he was ever given a chance to. Didn't look out of place when he did get minutes early in the year. Shout out to:
"Springs stayed, too, because the UConn degree meant something to him and to his family. He will graduate this spring, on time, with his degree in general studies. Then he’ll have options, likely two full years of eligibility to play as a grad student if he chooses to seek a place where he can get the minutes. "

I also think he could have been a contributor if played more. A true loyal program player. It's too bad he didn't see the rewards of his loyalty.

Even in this era of NIL and transfer portal, you still need guys who will be 10-12 on the roster. Sometimes injuries will force them into a rotation. If that had happened I think Springs would have answered the bell and produced. But we will never know. Just hope UConn can maintain competent bodies on the end of the bench.
