Red shirts......half way point

Here's a look at game participation for the half way point of the season. It looks as though HCBD has a lot more true freshman that are being saved this year than last. 2015 was a bigger class but so far it shows 12 scholly and 7 preferred walk-ons who have yet to play.......by comparison he only had 5 redshirt FR from his 2014 class left coming into this year. Should help with future team depth( something Uconn didn't have last year with only about 60-65 scholly players available ) going forward. There is also the Medical RS rule that says: "The student-athlete must not have competed in more than 30% of the season or three contests, whichever is greater " which might apply for some of those who have played.
