More on the Laughable NC academic fraud case

SMH, What a big surprise to see a fluff article from ESPN, the place that's now run by UNC grad John Skipper.....

love this excuse in the article:
"The key words are to govern competition. Nowhere does it say that the NCAA has a say so in the governance of or determining the merits of an institution's academic courses."
and this weak opinion by Dana O'neil: "In adjudicating UNC's case, the rules are too little too late, enacted after the NCAA began its investigation."

So then why did Uconn get a retroactive ban from the NCAA for academics, especially for kids who had nothing to do with the classes 6-7 year later ? So I guess it would've been OK for Uconn to cheat and put all the players down for passing grades ?

Yep one more case of the NCAA playing favorites and applying whatever rules they want for those in their good Ol' boy network, literally.
