Michigan State impressively led the NCAA division 1 in 3 different major team statistical categories: (1) rebounding margin; (2) FG defense %; and (3) 3 point shouting FG%. All of those stats were good enough to get Michigan State beaten by Middle Tennesee State, a 15 seed that led from start to finish of this game.
I watched the game and Middle Tennessee simply made incredible shot after incredible shot. They wanted the game desperately. Every time I thought MSU was about to go on a run MTSU responded with huge plays, great shots. This is what is great about the NCAA tournament. It's about the teams that want it the most at times. Michigan State was on their heels the whole game. Just a great game by Middle Tennessee.
