Bueckers goes No. 1 to Wings fresh off UConn title
Paige Bueckers, coming off leading UConn to its first national championship in nine years, was selected No. 1 by the Dallas Wings in the 2025 WNBA draft on Monday night.
It should be noted that all 3 UConn seniors got drafted. Katelynn Chen was picked 30th by the Valkyries and Aubrey Griffin went 37th to Minnesota.
