Not surprising that all 3 of Geno's former top 5 national recruits ( Williams a #1, Westbrook #2, ONO #5) dropped out of the 1st round. Seems like a trend of not getting better and dropping in rank. Same as Meghan Walker another #1 overall who dropped to #9 and who's lucky to still be in the WNBA. Walker's going to her 3rd team in 3 years while averaging 4.0 ppg.

Maybe they were not that good and overrated coming out of high school? I think Bueckers and Fudd have looked like they deserved their high school rankings. Walker has been a huge disappointment in both college and the pros......high rated busts always have happened, and probably always will. The trick is don't recruit too many of them.

Williams was overrated coming out. Undersized wing with an inconsistent stroke and just above average athleticism.

ONO showed flashes her sophomore year, but she never added the size and strength or had the will/toughness to be dominant.

Evina got better here. Her knees didn’t Cooperate and in retrospect, she was probably more like a top 20 caliber player.
