CBS' 247Sports.com Will Buy Sports Website Scout Media's Assets ...
"CBS Sports announced Wednesday it has acquired Scout Media and will fold the brand into its existing properties — which include everything under the CBS Sports umbrella, MaxPreps and 247Sports......The assets of college sports website network Scout Media are headed to one of its biggest rivals. Scout cancelled its bankruptcy auction Wednesday after no other company formally challenged CBS's $9.5 million stalking-horse bid."
I remember when the Boneyard was with Rivals back in around 03-04 and then made their power play over to Scout and all the lemmings followed along. Then the Boneyard went rougue and independent again.... well I guess as long as the followers keep following it's a living, LOL ! Amazing thing this internet market place.
