Yeah as we all know in Uconn land, he's certainly not made for prime time, but I guess in small doses,
LOL !

He was reportedly concussed and with head injuries you never know. Back in 2018 I think Yankees OF Clint Frazier was concussed running into a fence and was never the same player after that. He had vertigo and damage to his vestibular system. I am not suggesting this will be the outcome for Hawkins, but head injuries do vary depending on the person and injury. Everyone's brain and how it reacts to trauma is different.

I defend personal injury cases and handle a lot of concussion cases and TBI which means traumatic brain injury. I have one now that is pretty bad and the carrier will end up having to pay on it- big money. Was as a result of lady having her head slammed into driver's side window in a motor vehicle accident after being T boned hard. People usually don't wear football or baseball helmets when they drive so these kinds of accidents can produce horrific head injuries.

There is a very good neurologist at UConn Health Center who specializes in concussions and post concussive syndrome. Her name is Stephanie Alessi-LaRosa. She has been treating physician in a number of concussion cases I have handled and I would bet she is probably Jordan's treater. Although not as much as I bet on Fudd being MOP of womens Big East tourney LOL. One interesting aspect or Dr. Alessi-LaRosa's reporting is she uses gender neutral pronouns and refers to her patients as them or they, not he or she.

Another concussion specialist and possible second opinion doctor is Peter McAllister in Stamford. He is very similar to Allessi LaRosa, a neurologist specialized in concussion and other head injuries as well as headaches. He has a headache and concussion clinic down in Stamford and he is the top gun down there. If any of you guys have head injuries these 2 are the top guns on concussions and head injuries.

Polley and Hawkins both being out would reduce the team's effectiveness in shooting 3s very substantially. They are threats and they open up the floor. Teams really key on Polley and deny him on the perimeter. In the last game against DePaul they went into the DePaul huddle on TV and the coach repeatedly implored his team to deny Polley any looks at the 3 point line.

The last time the UConn men’s basketball team stepped on the Madison Square Garden floor for the Big East tournament, the Huskies had three future NBA first-round draft picks — including a pair of soon-to-be lottery picks — on their side. Andre Drummond, Jeremy Lamb and Shabazz Napier.......Ten years later, after a postseason ban, seven years in American Athletic Conference purgatory and a global pandemic intervened, UConn returns to a sold-out Garden for the Big East tournament on Thursday night.

If Scottie Pippen was at that game last night he would have bowed in reverence to the display of athletic and disruptive defense put on by AJ. He was phenomenal and it was the best defensive performance of the year by UConn, in my opinion. They will need more of the same tonight against a much better Villanova offense.

Creighton is up on PC 42-27 at half. Arthur Kaluma the freshman has looked exceptional as he did against UConn. It's amazing to me that Creighton loses its All Big East Freshman point guard Nembhard, and somehow they are even better. They are now playing the Turkish kid a lot at point guard and he is a good defender but prone to taking bad shots. McDermott actually came out on the court, grabbed the kid and talked to him heatedly after one bad shot that ended well when Kaluma stole the outlet pass, pulled up and buried a quick 3 causing Cooley to call TO.

Cooley in the huddle talks to his team like they are some college basketball juggernaut, as opposed to the beatable team that they are. His team has its work cut out because Creighton looks better.
