Andrew White.........Grad transfer

He is a very good player but guard doesn't appear to be a position of need for UConn unless someone gets hurt. He is an All Big 10 guard, he going somewhere he can start.

Now 6-7/ 220 lbs, I don't see any Uconn connection during his HS recruiting (Andrew White - Rivals) when he committed to Kansas.... but here's an interesting clip:

helicopter father who thinks the kid is more talented than he has shown..the kid is looking to improve his stats not the teams. Read on the scout fprovidence board. They don't want him either, sounds like he might cause issues with the team.
No thanks

Interesting find...Father seems to have alot of "I/we" problems:
Barfknecht: Family pressure not unusual, but Andrew White is leaving Tim Miles, Husker family in a lurch

" White Jr.( his father) asked if it would be smart to hire a public relations firm to tout his son’s accomplishments and potential. (He) raised questions about his son’s place in the Nebraska program, despite him starting all 34 games and taking more shots than any other Husker. The father also suggested that playing on a rebuilding program hurt his son’s pro prospects. Yes, this is another case of a helicopter father swooping into his son’s business."

Here's another write up, all this White interest seems like fan speculation which is bound to happen this time of year when you have 2 schollies open:

But another writer adds this from KO:
