UK use of Celeb's not complaint ? Who knew.....

Dom,

I hate to tell you this but a few years back some photos appeared of Drake with Stephanie Dolson. I think Dolson took selfies and posted them on her twitter. At the time I read that Bria Hartley's uncle was Drake's bodyguard (or something like that), and I think Drake hooked the girls up with front row tickets at his concerts or they did at their games, or both. So the point is Drake is a huge hoops fan and shows up at tons of games, including not only UK but UConn's as well.

As a musician I like Drake, but I like him even better as actor and comedian. He hosted SNL a few years ago and showed himself to be an extremely witty and funny guy who also has musical talent. He is half black and half Jewish, and in one of the skits he did he mocked both heritages but in a way that was funny and not offensive. It involved Drake's bar mitvah as I recall.

Drake has also gotten into some very, very funny verbal disputes with other musicians, notably Chris Brown. There was a fight between Drake and Brown and their respective entorurages at some NYC club, which was followed by Drake and Brown taking shots at each other in the media. Drake is much smarter than Brown, and his shots were funnier and more clever. He basically said his music was more real than Brown's and less superficial. I generally think it is in poor taste for musicians to comment on each other's work because music is so subjective, but Drake's shots at Brown were very funny and it seemed that Brown shut his mouth after that. Brown's ass is now stuck in Phillipines because he stiffed a concert promoter there and they won't let him leave the country. A lot of these celeb types live in a different reality than the rest of us, and see themselves as different and above the law.
