Haven't seen any other confirmation aside from these tweets:

I guess David Benedict didn't waste any time getting some scheduling done with his former employer.....also the rest should be out soon:

The other side is coached by the wily Bruce Pearl. He had great success at Tennessee despite questionable recruiting tactics, and I would expect that he will put a competitive team on the floor that will not sap UConn's RPI like Loyola Marymount.

Are you really taking a shot at UConn playing Loyola Marymount? Its a tune up game. Get out to the west coast early and get a game in before heading out to Maui. The Maui field is loaded no reason to schedule a difficult game and possibly lose before going to the tournament. A loss before that tournament could start a snowball effect. This is going to be a team trying to find its identity and roles to begin the season with a lot of new pieces. Have to build their confidence and take things slowly no reason to throw them into a lions den to start the season.

A road game at a team like Loyola Marymount is going to be a hostile atmosphere. This will be their superbowl.

All the things you say are true but LM's RPI sucked moose balls the last few years. Granted you can't schedule all top 50 RPI games but the idea of an easy game should be a team in the 100s not the 200s. Schedule strength is everything with the AAC conference schedule.
