Lefty...interesting that they've been offering more 2016 SG's recently, how many will they take or is this plan A,B,C, etc.?..... KY kid who's a lifelong fan of the Cats...decent high major offer list (Eli Wright) according to Rivals.

Also speaking of SG's what ever happen to Uconn's interest in Bruce Brown ? Ozzie ? anyone read anything ?

I know his team mate at VT Academy who was said to have Uconn interest Tyrique Jones from Bloomfield, CT signed with Xavier after Mamadou Diarra commited to Uconn. I remember this March article from Borges at the NH Register : Is UConn trying to build a recruiting pipeline through Vermont?
There was some talk about a Brown reclassify to a 2015 and then it seems everything regarding him and Uconn went silent... even though he's having a good summer with the BABC and I also read he's Jalen Adams cousin

This offer makes even more sense now with Kameron McGusty ‏@ off the board, Uconn's gotta keep their options open just like the recruits do.

We cooled on Bruce a lot Blades. Not sure what the reason is/was. I personally think we have a greatshot at him if nothing more then Jalen Afams can recruit him.

Also regarding this new offer... We are recruiting grinding, Dom... Need a SG combo along with a BIG for 2016 badly.

Who do you think as fans should be looking to for most probable Bigs for 16 ? Secondly, who do you want to round out the class ?

( Ozzie knows best ) But in the FWIW department here's a big that both Rivals and CBS/247 list as a Uconn interest........ Rivals-Schnider Herard- 6-10/255
Though 247 lists Kansas (FWIW) as the leader way ahead of Uconn, Arizona St. and Miss St. in his final 4: Schnider Herard - Plano, TX (Prestonwood Christian)

I also read some talk last fall of: ‏@OntheRadarHoops " UCONN was in to see 16' center Udoka Azubuike of Potters House (FL)"
.... but as with all these top bigs it's get in line.....EDIT: and scratch according to 247Sports not even a Uconn offer ?

What UConn likes is a shot blocker who can run the Court. All UConn centers have usually fit this mold. Offense is secondary. Rebounding is a plus but priorities are (1) rim protection, (2) running the court, (3) rebounding, (4) setting screens for the guards and (5) low post game and offense. Those are the priorities for a UConn 5.

Regarding shot blocking, court running stringbeans, there is another Aussie who Uconn offered in May :
Right now there is Minnesota, Tennessee, West Virginia, Maryland, VCU , U of San Francisco and Kansas State. Offers [-wise] – I only know of UCONN, because the head coach called me. My high school coach handles all of my offers” (who's now 6-11/ 215lbs. according to ESPN)

Recruiting Update: 6'10” Class of 2016 Forward Gorjok Gak

The only problem could be Edward Smith ( don't know how much or if he's involved), who " is either a saint giving forgotten children opportunity, or he is a misguided control-freak looking for treasure" according to this article: Refugees escaping war are aiming for the stars( Ater Majok and NCAA , Uconn mention)
