UConn Head Coach Kevin Ollie Postgame - Cincinnati

Kevin looks really unhappy in that video. However a lack of a call at the end did not cost UConn this game. I note that Purvis was wide open on the wing when Gibbs drove the ball, and not I am not sure why Gibbs thought he would be able to drive and make a shot when he hadn't turned the corner on Caupain the whole game, except one drive in the first half which was in transition.

UConn lost the game due to long stretches of bad offense, failure to finish drives, and a general lack of cohesion against what everyone knew would be a good Cincy defense. Cincy got a few more inside baskets than UConn did, while Phil Nolan had his shot blocked a few more times to add to a staggering career total of getting one's shots blocked, possibly only eclipsed by RJ Evans, who was a much smaller player.
