on the Uconn website...Joe Fagnano back ? He's listed on the spring roster? ( or is it a typical roster mistakes by Uconn IT ). There was a story from local media that the Fenway Bowl was his last college game.

They also announced newcomers in for spring semester, including true freshman on campus. 2 portal commits not mentioned in the press release or on the spring roster that had been confirmed earlier as signed are Hayden Bozich (OT - Brown U.) and Sammy Anderson Jr. (DB - Austin Peay )

YEP.....HE'S BACK !!!.... Joe Fagnano sighting (21 sec. mark) in today's back at it work outs.....I guess he got an extra year for 2023 when he got injured for the season after 2 games !

2025 Football Roster - University of Connecticut ​

Roster note- Gathings, the 3rd leading WR ( 32 catches) from 2024, listed earlier this month, is no longer on the roster. Uconn did add 3 WR's from the portal. ( Burton, Auburn / Murphy, Arizona / Parker, C. Michigan )

Besides Welliver (QB from TEX) the other key loss to the portal following spring ball was RB/KR Mel Brown. Two other new Huskies brought in from the portal over the winter are no longer on the roster. Those gone are LB Terry Kirksey, left for Arkansas State. And WR Caleb Burton (from Auburn) is no longer listed on the Uconn roster, but is yet unconfirmed.

2 scholly WR's that are RS-SO, but had yet to see much action have also left. Welliver is not a surprise with last years #1 and #2 QB's still in the mix with Fagnano coming back for a grad year. Good news yesterday is that Brown the leading KR and speed back ( 3rd leading rusher), is again in the Uconn fold, after a recruiting trip to West Virginia.
