STORRS, Conn. – UConn and CBS Sports have announced the game times for five UConn football home games, all of which will be televised on CBS Sports Network.

Thursday night home openers before Labor Day week-end had been the norm, up to 2019.

"Working with CBS Sports Network, UConn will move their 2023 season-opener against NC State from Saturday, September 2 to Thursday night, August 31 at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field. Gametime for opening kickoff to be announced at a later date......the 2023 season opener will kick-off another season of UConn football on CBS Sports Network ... its third season.....CBS Sports Network will televise all home games through the 2023 season."

WFSB (CBS aff) in Hartford picks up Uconn's FCS game (vs. Sacred Heart on Sat., Nov. 18, at noon ) along with other Uconn content.....
