The excitement surrounding Samson Johnson continues to grow after the talented UConn commit took over the Tri-State New Jersey tournament this past weekend. The 6'10" center led The Patrick School to victory and put on quite a show in the process:
One of UConn's prized recruits in their highly-anticipated 2021 class, Johnson is already looking the part of the next great bigman in Storrs. His coach, Chris Chavannes, continues to be impressed with Johnson's development and had the following to say after the tournament:
"That’s the best I’ve seen him play in terms of showing how freaking talented he is. He was just dominant.”
Johnson announced his commitment to UConn back in August and will join Rahsool Diggins and Jordan Hawkins in Storrs next season.
