UConn #18 Nationally According to Lindy's

Just picked up Lindy's. UConn is ranked #18. Other AAC teams in the top 25 are SMU #16. Here is what Lindy's says about some UConn players:

Jalen Adams: "knack for winning; a more athletic Shabazz Napier"
Terry Larrier: "extremely talented.........must sit out this year"
Rodney Purvis: "averaged team best 17.6 ppg in postseason games last year"
Amida Brimah: "shot swatter has bulked up, must rebound better, avoid foul trouble"
Kentan Facey: "Skilled big man needs to get stronger, tougher"
Daniel Hamilton: "reiging AAC Player of the Year could blossom into one of the better players in the nation"

Lindy's seems very ambivalent about picking SMU to win the AAC over UConn, stating that "if UConn's newcomers have the impact that many think they will, us picking SMU might be doomed in March."

AAC is rated by Lindy's as the 7th best conference, after the Power 5 and the Big East.
