Im ready to say that Whaley is my favorite player on this team. That takes a lot for me to come full circle on the kid.....his transformation is just crazy.

Im not sure that he fits well in the BE but dang it if I cant wait to see him try.

Another story is Vital......He has been a thorn in my side for 3.5 years. The kid has grown so much in the last 10 games its unreal.

Gilbert......takes his benching in stride.....tells you something about the kid. Much respect.

Carlton......I feel terrible for him. He lost his way. his head is just out of it....never seen anything like it. He is terrible right now but I think a change of scenery would do him good. go out west somewhere like UW or UCLA or USC and get right.

Hurley has done his job. We need a miracle to win our way into the dance but this team is over .500 and on the highest note it has been on in YEARS.

Sid.....same as Carlton. What the hell happened? I hope he stays and finds his head/game.

Very good ball movement and spacing again last night, but what is best about the 4 guard offenses Hurley has been using is UConn is not suffering on defense and rebounding, apart from a few really bad possessions when they did not stop the driver in transition.

Seth Greenberg nailed the problem with Carlton, which is he tries to do too much and does not utilize simple and efficient post moves (like Whaley does). That and foul trouble are just killing him right now.

I thought Wilson provided better minutes last night than the prior game in which he was "unplayable". He played the 5 for a stretch last night with Carlton and Whaley on the bench and UCF was unable to score.

It was an unreal play for him.........shows that the kid has something great in him.
