The opening line from Vegas Insider is UConn by 14 over this 4-16 team that has been an AAC patsy the last few years.
This team is likely the second worst team in the AAC, after the USF team which UConn just beat, although they actually have a worse record and worse results than USF, if you remove their 15 point win over USF from the equation. That is their only AAC win. Cincy has already blasted Tulane twice, by 36 at home and 18 on the road.
Tulane as a team is shooting under 40% FGs and 31% on 3 pointers, so they are certainly not a good shooting team even though they are now coached by former NBA coach Mike Dunleavy.
When I saw them last year, I thought they were the worst team in the AAC. However, in the game at Tulane last year the Tulane bigs, although possessed with zero offensive basketball skills or talent, were nevertheless very good at throwing their bodies around in a very aggressive manner, resulting in Facey fouling out in 8 minutes of action while trying to play the 5 for Brimah. If they have the same cast of talentless goons, depth behind Brimah could be an issue.
In the game at UConn last year they could not put the ball in the ocean, shot 20% or so and lost by 20.
Let's hope that UConn takes these ballsuckers to the woodshed and give them the beating they need to take.
