When is the last time we had a kid do this?

This says all we need to know about what type of kid this is. the Hurley family has lead this kid right......he's the leader this team needs.....just now go prove it. No more 2-13 and missing key FT's.

It's a very smart thing to do as far as getting fans on his side. Cole could have made excuses- he was likely dog tired chasing around Zegarowski the whole game and he really did a much better job on Zegarowski than I would have expected. A lot of you are forgetting that the game was only close when he attempted the FTs, in part, because of the D Cole played on Zegarowksi the whole game which was old school UConn defense. Cole could have used the chasing of Zegarowski and the 17 day layoff as a valid excuse for tired legs, but he didn't do it, and the fact that he isn't making excuses shows he is accountable to himself and his team.

Now he has to make good on his promise and go out and win some games. Hopefully this game will become a source of motivation for him.

agree on him playing great D. I think he needs to look at the 2-13 shooting as a major problem as well. Dont need the FT at the end if he hits one more of those or passes instead of shooting with a COLD HAND like he did.
