Rique story from the Uconn site

I think Gilbert will surprise people the most with his play, in a good way. Very excited to see him play and develop next year.

If he can stay healthy.......that shoulder is subject to being separated at the slightest contact, as we have already seen.

Not exactly the case. The incident he had during the high school all star game was before surgery and it had happened a couple of times. With surgery it was strengthened so that his shoulder wouldn't pop so readily,

The problem with it happening during the Loyola Marymount game was very specific to the incident. The opposing player literally jumped and put all his body weight on Alterique shoulder. Any person would have suffered that injury regardless of previous history.

Last year was an incredibly abnormal year for any school regarding injuries.

I hope you guys are right. I thought some procedure had been done after the first shoulder separation at the Jordan Brand Classic?
